MENTOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
What: A completely volunteer mentorship program open to all members of the Gamma-Iota Zeta chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha, active and alumni. The program is designed to open up Alumni members to both Actives and other Alumni in order to provide mentorship and guidance with different facets of life in school and out of school. Actives and Alumni would be able to seek out alumni to help with degree advice (focuses, graduate, post-grad, etc), class advice, internships and job seeking advice/help (resume review, job referrals, etc). Actives would also be able to seek input or advice on leadership positions within the Chapter, for instance a current High Alpha seeking advice about an issue or situation from past High Alphas.
Why: First and foremost, we are looking to start this program up to continue to make Gamma-Iota Zeta and Lambda Chi Alpha the best fraternity on campus. This program will also continue to create and maintain the bridge that is being formed between the Active and Alumni memberships. Finally, this program is something that the Active chapter has stated they would be interested in making use of, and as the Alumni Association we agree.
How: We have a signup form below that we will use to register you as a mentor based on what you feel comfortable volunteering to help with. This will then be searchable by the members of the Active chapter and Alumni organization so that initial contact can be made.
